When ChayaLeah said she wanted to discuss “the big d,” I thought she meant delis, which got me excited because I can actually add something to that discussion.
Alas, it was not to be. Apparently she meant divorce, which depressed me on several levels.
Anyway, in this conversation, we start by discussing the impact of the horrendous California fires on the Jewish community, emphasizing the importance of support and charity.

I just wanted to thank you all, as I knew I wanted to contribute, but I wasn't sure how. So thanks to this episode, I contributed to the Palisades Chabad. Primarily because the first day of the fire, when i heard about it, I first thought there was some huge fire in the Jersey Palisafes, and I cuuldn't figure out why I couldn't smell a thing.
Having said that,I feel weird posting this, since on the Chabad website, I contributed anonymously, as, well, I am a true disciple of the Rambam. But I have apparently negated that by posting this here.
Anyway. LOVE the podcast. Am about to take the Chabad Talmud course that's starting, like, next week or so and very excited.
