As a Jew who's lived my whole life in NYC, I can say without a doubt that there's nothing that laziness can (or, well, cannot) accomplish. I've gone so far as to stop eating non-kosher food, but I don't keep kosher. And I have noooo excuse as there is literally a kosher grocery store 2 blocks from me.
