I like it. We agreed the next book would be less “Jewish.” One of our goals is to discuss non-Jewish books, at least partially, through the lens of Judaism, but we’ll keep a BST book in mind.
We’ll decide on the next book before the next episode and tell everyone then.
I have a friend named Leah who I know from pickleball. We’ve been playing together for about a year, but she was shocked the other day when I told her I had children. She said that, in addition to looking so young, what was so surprising about learning I’m a dad is that I’m “so joyous”.
I said “Leah, I want to talk to you about my friend. His name is the Baal Shem Tov.”
Have you guys chosen the next book yet? How about a Baal Shem Tov biography? I’m all in on the BST.
