Loved the episode, but . . .

The three of you in the discussion, Rabbi Perlmutter is teasing CL about her time as a teacher and then says, “no, no, she’s a highly ethical and moral person…” And nobody got out she’s a “ChayaLeah-ly moral and ethical person.”

C’mon folks, the jokes are writing themselves and you’re leaving them on the table!

Keep up the great work! I so appreciate your discussions (missed humor opportunities notwithstanding 😀)

If things don’t go well at work, we’ll hire you as the official edJEWcation comedy ombudsman.

That would be very kind, and a terrible idea for you all 😀. Best for everyone if I just stay in the peanut gallery 🥜

Thanks for another great episode!

I will add- it’s obviously not part of the initial intent of the b’nai mitzvah celebrations, but I’ve noticed with my daughter and her friends that for Jewish adolescents growing up in a non-Jewish society, especially with the increasingly open antisemitism since October 7, it’s a really great age to be having a year of amazing parties together, celebrating each other’s coming of age in the Jewish community together, and bonding and connecting with their Jewish peers as a community that they have fun with.
